Section 1: Introduction

• I am Brigitte Bernal
• I work at Alexander Middle School in Pearland ISD
• I teach sixth grade Reading/Language Arts
• I love my job! Everything about my job! Last year provided the biggest shock in my teaching career. With 12 years of seniority and being one of the original teachers who opened the 12 year old elementary school, I was selected to move to sixth grade in another part of our school district! I chose to look at the situation as an opportunity to take me out of my comfort zone and do something different in teaching. As a result, it reminded me how much I love education, working with people, and orchestrating success from the most overwhelming of circumstances.

Hobbies: stamping, scrapbooking, boating with my family, shopping
